Sharjah Health Authority (SHA)

Almheiri was appointed Chairman of SHA in 2022. The authority was established in 2010, and is the health regulator and system, policies and standards, developer in Sharjah. In June 2025, SHA signed a healthcare services agreement with Aster DM Healthcare to offer discounted services and enhance healthcare quality in the Emirate. Almheiri is the Chairman of Sharjah Healthcare City (SHCC), Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Hospital Sharjah, among other roles.

Public Health Authority (Weqaya)

Country: Saudi Arabia

Algwizani joined Weqaya in 2018, when it was known as the Saudi Center for Disease Prevention and Control. In May 2025, the authority commenced preventative healthcare programs, including awareness campaigns and specialized training in anticipation of the Hajj season. In 2024, Weqaya implemented 33 key initiatives across seven strategic tracks, including public health laboratories, and Hajj health readiness. The Authority also received approval to expand its network by establishing five new branches and 12 offices across the Kingdom, while achieving a 154% increase in revenue compared to 2023. Algwizani was previously Director of Infection Prevention and Control at King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital.
