With its extensive lawns and mammoth walls, the House of Sunwells whispers stories of togetherness and individuality. Designed by Zafar Masud Choudhary and Monika Choudhary of Habitat Architects, this magnum opus is notable for its tender embrace of human connection, and a shared green landscape that binds the two brothers' homes. “True richness lies in relationships,” the Choudharys reflect, “and architecture, at its best, simply makes space for them.” With every courtyard shadow and skylit glow, the House of Sunwells feels exuberant, a home that listens to the heartbeats of those who dwell within, making it a silver lining of empathic design. Executed in 2023, this exquisite home is distinguished for its gentle orchestration of light and landscape, crafting a home where two brothers' families find both solitude and togetherness.
