Regional Office, State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Berhampur, Odisha organized an impactful awareness meeting on 5th June, 2025 at the New Conference Hall of Berhampur University, in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Science, Berhampur University and supported by Tata Steel Foundation. The day was marked by a series of engaging activities, including brainstorming sessions, stakeholder open debates and discussions and on-the-spot quiz competitions. 70 gift kits were distributed to the winners of the on-the-spot quiz competition. These sessions focused on finding effective strategies to mitigate the growing issue of plastic pollution. A wide range of insightful suggestions were received from diverse stakeholders during the open discussions.
