NEW DRAMA
Our Girl Tuesday, BBC1 HD, 9pm
The stakes have never been higher as military drama Our Girl returns for its fourth series this week – with Michelle Keegan playing newly promoted Sergeant Georgie Lane for the final time as the Army medic confronts her demons and returns to the front line.
As the series begins, Georgie is working with the Royal Army Medical Corps, training medics in her native Lancashire, when she has a chance encounter with her old platoon, 2 Section, who are about to embark on a tour of Afghanistan.
Sergeant King (Rolan Bell) has got his hands full with a group of new recruits, including anxious Mimi (Ackley Bridge’s Amy-Leigh Hickman), and wants Georgie to join them – but she’s plagued by flashbacks of the bomb blast that killed her fiancé, Elvis Harte.
