How has your career changed since being on the BET cypher?

I put out The Regime recently and I’ve been going all over just to support it, promote it and get people familiar with it. In doing that now I can see the awareness. Me and my music are kind of growing because of the cypher. Just being a part of something like that…man it was crazy! Because, I know it’s kind of cliche, when you hear somebody say “Aw you know last year I was watching this from my house.” But, that’s honestly what was going on last year. I wasn’t there. That was my first time going to the awards period. So for me to be a part of it and just to see people recognizing me....

That’s really dope, it was exciting to see a lot of females perform on there this year. I know you’ve shared the stage with many artists so far, Lauryn Hill, J. Cole all that. So, who’s your favorite artist you’ve shared the stage with so far?

Hey #MidwestLeakReaders, it’s your girl ThePolishedLady. I am a reporter for Midwest Leak magazine, Influencer, Host and Mommy to ThePolishedPrince. People are asking me about cool things to check out in the city of my great hometown, Indianapolis, IN. So, I thought I would share my favorite things with you all in my favorite publication. Recently, I have been attending a lot of artists centered events and I’d like to share my top three open mic experiences.
