Lucknow, the city of Nawab has not only produced Nawab in its glorious history but gems from each field of life. Be it literature, music, theatre, politics, art, culture, scientist, culinary art, you name it and Lucknow has a master of its own in each of them. What the city came across recently was someone who had put all his efforts in doing something that will make him stand out among all. Born in Lucknow, Gaurav Siddharth, a 23 year old, freelance UI designer based out of Delhi has made a record to cover 80000 kilometers on motorbike and now want to enter into the famous Guinness book record for completing 12-lakh km journey on his motorbike.

Team Lucknow Observer had an opportunity to meet the zealous traveller and took a small interview to know his views on city and his future plans.

Que:- How did the idea of attempting this record to cover 80000 kilometers came into your mind?

Ans:- Partially from my quest to explore the country like no one has done before and partially from Columbus as an inspiration who travelled around the globe on a maiden journey without thinking of what consequences he might face. Guinness World Record was an offshoot of this quest, I had to go, hence why not apply for a world record if it comes. When I was 21, I had only travelled to a few cities outside Lucknow like Nainital and Haldwani, and now when I'm 23, there are 29 states and 390+ cities across 550+ districts of India.

Que:- Even after riding for almost 80000 kilometers, you have set a target of 120000 kilometers. Who is the inspiration behind this?
