The Essential Guide To Travel-Friendly iOS Apps

Suggested quotation: “You may be pleasantly surprised by how much of your expected luggage you can practically manage to replace with just an iPhone.”

With summer now here, we wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve got an exciting vacation – or several – lined up. Perhaps you anticipate sunning yourself on a Californian or Floridian beach, exploring historical landmarks in Greece or Mexico or enjoying a quiet and romantic dinner with a significant other in Paris? However you intend to travel, you could have a lot of planning to do and things to pack – but perhaps surprisingly, your iPhone alone could almost serve as something of an entire digital suitcase.

Let’s get one thing out of the way first: for particularly adventurous pursuits that could see you spending weeks if not months from home, you might feel comfortable bringing a laptop as well. Still, you may be pleasantly surprised by how much of your expected luggage you can practically manage to replace with just an iPhone. These days, an iPad, too, can take up many responsibilities with which you might typically entrust your laptop. Here’s how you could get started...

HOW TO PLAN FOR A TREK ACROSS THE PLANET

Where would you like to go? You’ve probably already got a fair few ideas – but if you can’t quite settle on a specific choice of destination, don’t worry. You could find that your indecision is broken soon after you download the Kayak trip planner app for iPhone. The app’s Explore feature allows you to specify a maximum budget and see a range of possible getaways that fit. Kayak scours the world in search of the perfect vacation destination for you, so you don’t have to worry that it could miss something special.
