AFTER 50 YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL JAGUAR Rallies, and discussions that maybe they should be held every two years, it was a virus from China which put an end to many years of planning for the event to be staged in Perth in March 2020. The Jaguar National Rally started life as a weekend away in 1969 but progressed quickly. The premier award is the Sir William Lyons Trophy for the winner of the concours, personally donated by Jaguar's founder after discussions with this magazine's editor, sourced by him and first presented in 1976 to Diana Ducros.
