THE AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF MONACO postponed their biennial Monaco Historic Race meeting last year, but it was obvious they were determined to run the event this year - and they did.

Due to Covid restrictions in the UK, the normally full entry list was depleted somewhat because a large proportion of the entries for Monaco come from the UK. Even though one of the races on the weekend is for sports cars - the reason being that in 1952 the official Monaco Grand Prix was not for grand prix cars but sports cars – there is usually a good Jaguar entry. This year though there were just four Jaguar engined cars, but all of them were interesting ones.
