In our three-article Special, we pinpoint the various facets of the problem, namely, the internet as a tool of exploitation of children, abuse of children perpetrated by close relatives and members of the clergy who have sexually mistreated minors. All abusers and enablers of sexual crimes against children should be held accountable and face justice. In particular, the clergy, as men of God, who have practiced these abuses should be penalized and incur the penalties of canon and civil.
