The size of the country’s real estate industry is expected to reach $1 trillion by 2030 from $200 billion in 2021, according to a joint report prepared by Naredco and EY.

The sector is deeply interlinked to a large number of allied industries including steel, cement and bricks and is estimated to account for about 6-7% of the economy. India’s real estate market has grown tremendously in the past decade.
