It’s a difficult time for the travel industry at present, with the rapidly-changing impact of Coronavirus COVID-19. As country’s work to contain it with varying flight reductions and travel restrictions, we too must be vigilant about where, when and how we travel. It is an unprecedented and fluctuating situation we all must pay close attention to, whilst not letting it diminish our dreams and longing for travel as a whole.
With that in mind, I hope we can provide some much-needed escapism this month, as we whisk you away, metaphorically speaking, to beautiful and far-flung destinations both near and far.
Take the Indian Ocean, for example, a vast area of pure, unbridled beauty, where the rugged coastlines of the Seychelles and Mauritius, the pristine beaches of the Maldives, and the jungle-strewn tropics of Sri Lanka sit in natural harmony. It would impossible to curate a ‘Best of’ list of five-star hotels for our annual Indian Ocean Special, because each and every property brings something exceptional to the table. So, instead, we bring you a round-up of some of our favourites to spark joy and inspire wanderlust. There are many, many more properties screaming out to be explored that I promise we will bring you in due course – we will leave no stone unturned.
