New year. New opportunities. New adventures. Is anyone else excited for the arrival of 2026? The tantalising prospect of 12 more months of exploration has presented itself and I urge you to grasp it—and your passport—with both hands. My attention is already wandering through the Southern African delta, the colourful tapestries of South America and naturally, the opulent experiences of the GCC.
In preparation for your epic excursions around the globe, this issue has been dedicated to the resorts that seek to revive your wellness and energy levels and put you in the best frame of mind (and body) for the journeys ahead. In Crete, Sarah Freeman goes in search of the secrets to a long and healthy life, while Joseph Furness receives his beauty and wellness goals for the year with a visit to the Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie in Dubai. I too embrace wellness season, finding myself a quiet corner in south Bali and becoming spiritually renewed with a stay at Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali.
There is also a healthy dash of wonderful trips that stray from the strict wellness diet.
