MEET B&B'S NEW ZENDE

“It’s been wild the past couple of months,” marvels B&B newcomer Delon de Metz, who was tapped to play Zende Forrester during the show’s hiatus. “Pretty much everything was on lockdown and [when] my agent sent it to me he said, ‘Hey, these guys are working, you might have a lot of fun with this, take a look at the sides.’ I said, ‘Let’s take a shot,’ and three rounds of auditions later, I get the go-ahead. I’m very excited to join the team.”

Sami is relieved when Rafe agrees not to adopt Allie’s baby. “First of all, what I love about this story is I think Sami really feels completely righteous in telling Rafe that he’s not the right person to raise this child,” begins Alison Sweeney (Sami). “She sort of can’t believe anyone is considering it. He’s going to be a great dad someday. He’s a good guy, obviously. She has lots of complicated feelings for him, but the idea of him being a single father to Allie’s baby is just a nonstarter as far as Sami’s concerned.”

Ciara and Ben’s perfect wedding goes awry when a bomb explodes after the happy couple is pronounced husband and wife, causing complete chaos at the church. “Everything comes crashing down, separating the two of them,” explains Victoria Konefal, noting that Ciara goes from “her highest high to her lowest low in a matter of seconds. The girl is on the epitome of an emotional roller-coaster ride.”
