In between all those other inventive endeavors, when a spark to make something new hits, do you find it hard to resist? We’ve all felt that magnetic pull to just drop everything to spontaneously bring something of beauty from deep within our souls out into the world. Whether arranging newlycut flowers, singing at the tops of our lungs, concocting a mouth-watering meal, or invoking the magic of needle and thread, creating just cannot be denied.
Be sure to read Designer Notes, where the amazing artists in this issue share wide-ranging outlets for their creative ways. In Charitable Cause, you’ll find inspiration for helping children impacted by the war in Ukraine, and Judy’s spin in Do-Si-Do contributes to the cause. We had a nice visit with popular designer Maggie Bonanomi, who cherishes the connection of friends young and old stopping along the way to enjoy every moment.
