In this issue
This spring, Diabolique is both your fever and your cure! Our 23rd issue lays Medical Horror on the operating table for dissection and holds out its vital organs for all to see. Inside, we break down the themes and screams of Eyes Without A Face and The Skin I Live In, and share our exclusive interviews with “Twisted Twins” Jen and Sylvia Soska and exploitation legend Jack Hill, in which they examine their bodies of work. Rondo Award-nominee and Editor-in-Chief, Max Weinstein, and our new Web Editor, Jake Whritner, each give unique treatments to H.P. Lovecraft’s “Herbert West-Reanimator,” and its cinematic adaptation, Re-Animator. And while the doctors are in(sane) in our takes on The Human Centipede trilogy and The Abominable Dr. Phibes, our two new columns, Fright From the Fringe and Blu Magick, deliver the cinephilic prescription you’ve long been searching for.
Diabolique 23 will see you now, and it’s sick in the head!
