從1950年春天，比爾•戴維斯（Bill Davis）在芝加哥發行第一本高爾夫文摘（Golf Digest），迄今，高爾夫文摘已走進長達70年的歷史。
  這70年來，在每十年風水輪流轉之中，我們發現高爾夫產業也跟著發生巨大的轉變，因此我們在這一期封面的《高爾夫文摘70周年紀念特輯》中，分別以四個主題——〈球技教學〉、〈高球器材〉、〈球場設計〉、〈印象伍茲〉，並依其1950年代、1960年代、1970年代、1980年代、1990年代、2000年代、2010年代七個階段時間軸，列舉出在那個年代最具代表性的球技人物、最重大的球具科技改變、以及最具代表性的球場設計師和球場作品，以及高爾夫文摘攝影記者唐．佛羅瑞透過鏡頭記錄從少年到今日40年來的老虎．伍茲，讓您在回顧這些曾經刊登過的文章的同時，也仿佛走進歷史時光機看看各個世代的高壇變化。

隨著PGA巡迴賽的再度展開，感覺整個人高球魂又回歸，因此本期提供滿滿的球技教學內容和好文章與球友們共享疫情之後難得的初夏熱情高球時光。
  首先是本期的封面人物〈桑德．蕭佛勒〉，他以自身在英國公開賽痛失大賽勝利的慘痛教訓，悟出如何在最關鍵時刻保持冷靜的秘訣，之後在做好所有關鍵時刻的種種準備後，緊接著在世巡HSBC錦標賽決賽輪的關鍵時刻他冷靜以對處理球路，最後讓他摘下桂冠。相信他所悟出的高球禪定對所有球員是非常有幫助的。
  我們總是好奇〈PGA巡迴賽職業選手到底在想什麼？〉為此，我們做了一份問卷調查，並請46位PGA巡迴賽職業選手回答了一些問題，看到他們的答案真的會讓你大吃一驚！原來，PGA巡迴賽職業選手所想的與我們不一樣。
  還記得那位揮桿怪異、戰績輝煌的吉姆．佛瑞克，他今年50歲了，可以打冠軍(長春)巡迴賽，不過在看完〈吉姆．佛瑞克五十歲的省思〉之後，您仍對征戰PGA巡迴賽信心滿滿的他給予百分百的支持，畢竟凡事無一定，唯有相信自己的心和實力，就如同他以怪異的揮桿行走高壇卻不斷締造令人驚讚的戰績一般。
  隨著巡迴賽選手的重返戰場，本期也隆重推出〈全球頂尖高爾夫教練龍虎榜〉，我們評選出75位最佳國際高爾夫教練，並也請歐洲(德國)、美洲(墨西哥)和亞洲(韓國)，全球三地最佳國際高爾夫教練傳授一則球技教學要領給球友分享。另外，我們也研擬一個測驗〈幫你找到桿數極限〉，希望對降低你的桿數計畫有些幫助。以及還有許多 《Play頂尖教練和球員的球技秘訣》教學專欄讓你準備迎接重新展開的巡迴賽季。

美國PGA巡迴賽宣布暫訂六月將在無觀眾之下展開，苦等了三個月，全球高爾夫球迷和選手終於又要開始動起來了，因此本期一開始的〈Play頂尖教練和球員的球技秘訣〉專欄多達42頁，從塞吉歐．賈西亞的揮桿分析，到老虎．伍茲的短桿技巧，甚至珍妮佛．佛萊雪專為高球員設計的伸展操，最後到湯米．佛列特伍德的522字推桿技巧傳授，涵蓋各個球技面向，共有多達21位頂尖高球教練和PGA、LPGA巡迴賽球員的教學內容，讓你一次看個夠，剛好可為將於六月展開的賽季先暖身。
