ROOM FOR FOOD We've seen it coming for a long time now, the trend that more and more people want to combine a wonderful hotel experience with magical food moments. If we look really far back, our inns and guesthouses worked just like that – a warming meal, a comfortable pillow and then good night, before the horse-drawn carriage continued through the country. And so it has galloped on through the increasingly elegant city hotels of the 20th century with dining rooms dressed with the most starched white tablecloths, until the massive wave of home away from home accommodations of the 21st century: boutique hotels that want you to never even leave the uber-designed building. When hotels.com recently predicted the 2025 trend with the comeback of the hotel restaurant, it was a familiar behavior for a long time.
