前首相纳吉夫妻生活奢华，一个表示来自家族和礼物，另一个则自揭理财赚钱厉害。随着纳吉正式面控后，相信广大人民都希望这疑窦终究会有答案：天文数字的资产到底从何来？
尽管纳吉曾多次否认洗黑钱的指控，但随着他分别于5月22日及24日，两度到布城反贪会总部，协助调查1MDB子公司SRC国际4200万令吉案件后，执法单位已于7月3日下午2时35分在大使路私邸逮捕纳吉。
7月4日，纳吉身穿蓝色西装步入法庭，并没如早前盛传般穿上反贪会的橘色扣留服。现场有支持者、巫青团、诺奥玛，以及其儿女现身支持，罗斯玛则至中午方现身。

财政部长林冠英5 月21 日宣布，政府会额外注资28 亿令吉完成吉隆坡敦拉萨国际贸易中心（TRX）工程，否则不仅将赔偿逾35 亿令吉，也会损失转至TRX 城市有限公司的37 亿令吉。他希望这项决定有助于缓解这项工程国内外投资者的担忧。他当时也发出了中文版文告告诉媒体大众，没想到却引起了一连串风波。  pg07

第38 届巫统党选将在6 月30 日举行，至于3 臂膀巫青团、妇女组和女青团领导层选举，则在6 月23 日进行。这是巫统失去中央政府政权后的首次党选。有别以往，本次巫统党选将由
14 万5000 名巫统代表选出一名党主席、一名署理主席、3 名副主席，以及25 名巫统最高理事。本次巫统党选共有612 人提名竞选21 个党职，包巫统母体、妇女组、巫青团和女青年团高职。其中巫统党主席，就有多达7 人竞选，这是巫统党选史上最多人竞选的一次。 pg08

第14 届全国大选结束后，警方随后开始调查1MDB 弊案，也对前首相纳吉和夫人罗斯玛展开一连串大搜查，充公许多名牌包、服饰和现款之外，暂时没有掌握有关1MDB 弊案的关键文件。  pg09

5月19 日，反贪污委员会发布公告，要前首相纳吉在22 日到反贪污
委员会总部录口供。
如果他没到反贪会协助调查，将会在2009 年反贪污委员会法令下
受到对付。

台湾著名作家李敖于3 月18 日上午10 点59分在台北荣民总医院去世，走完其83 年的传奇人
生。李敖晚年病痛不少，2003 年罹患前列腺癌2期，动手术后状况安好，还能接主持出新书，直至2015 年11 月因肺炎送急诊，方自认跟死亡擦身而过。2015 年7 月诊断出脑癌后，他开始接受放射性治疗，这导致免疫力下降、感染急性肺炎而病危。去年6 月，他公开一封亲笔信，除了把《李敖大全集》加编41 至85 本的目标之外，希望“跟家人、友人、仇人好好告别”。只可惜加编未能如愿。李敖于去年4 月开始频繁出入院。今年1 月底起，病况迅速恶化，一度稳定，最后安详离世。PG06
