It is easy to feel lonely while in a crowd, or the widening rift with the people we grew up with. Which is why we are exploring the theme ‘Home is where the heart is’ for the month of August. We talk to Malaysian musicians and personalities to learn more about their dreams and values. We suss out the state of our local subcultures. Most of our stories this month revolve around homegrown names. But there are also our international stars, like our cover story featuring Lomon — nickname for the South Korean actor named Park Solomon — dressed in Dior Men, speaks of the entertainment industry in his part of the world. Besides that, we also have a hefty watch and jewellery section, covering all the new watches for 2025. Other than the watches presented at Watches & Wonders, we also have some solid offerings from brands like TAG Heuer, Franck Muller, and Bell & Ross. Finally, there is our National Day to look forward to, and as we draw closer to 31 August, there is no better time to take stock of all the goodness we have in the country we call our home.
