India’s coal and coke imports during December 2019 through major and non-major ports are estimated to be up by 13.42 percent compared to December 2018, according to a compilation by Coal Insights, based on monitoring of vessels’ positions and data received from shipping companies and various sources. Imports during December 2019 stood at 20.52 mt as compared to 18.10 mt imported in December 2018.
