I am happy and content and the credit goes to all of you who have made me and my team live with 50 successful issues of TMM. Yes, this month we are completing 50 issues and to mark this achievement we decided to initiate something that helps recognize the people who are making it big in all walks of life. With Circle of Excellence Awards (COEA) we are taking another step of success and fulfilment and this time again we will need your support and love. When we started the journey of TMM it was more of a passion and with time and your interest, it became a necessity of life. From the success story of people to trends, over the years we have tried to bring you the best and at the same time, your involvement on social media platforms has given us a boost to push the envelope. The most interesting part of this journey for me had been meeting the deadlines and I have seen my team running all around to bring the best on time. I think we all have grown with this and this milestone has given us a boost to work harder. From designing, content creation to marketing, every pillar of TMM is precious to me, as they are the ones who strive 24*7 and I must say their hard work reflects in the 1st week of every month. 
I cannot think of a moment without TMM and this makes me nostalgic of all the hardships that went into establishing TMM as a successful brand in the competitive market. We promise to entertain, inform and educate in the coming years as well and wish for your love and support forever!

These days life feels like a roller coaster ride, where I am busy managing many roles in my personal and professional space, and then flying down to Mumbai for the cover shoot and overlooking the sea waves from the hotel room brought me some peace and also made me understand the value of much-needed "ME Time". These introspections and breaks are as important as work because they help us evaluate, reevaluate, and reorganize our priorities. This is not what I say, but a crux of what our cover star Chitrangda meant during a brief chat I had at the time of the cover shoot, and I kept pondering about it while going back to the hotel post-pack-up, and there was a moment when I felt, yes, this is it. And when I look back on my journey as the editor of my brainchild, I feel exactly the same. With this, I want to make you all sit for a while and give some thought to your passion, consistency, and all that counts as success, and then decide what needs your attention or not. Recently, I was on a cruise trip and that is when I could sense the importance of silence and how disconnecting from the world helps you rejuvenate. While this disconnect was forceful, as there was no network, but it made me understand that going forward I will have to make this disconnect a choice to introspect, understand, and grow as a person. At the end of the day, it is all about your journey, your success, and your happiness. I guess after a long time I began the New Year at home and the credit goes to the pandemic. On a brighter note, I felt really good and I guess that’s the beauty of this chaos, as it made us realize the magic of our comfort zone that lies back at home and nothing in this world can replace it. Having said that, stepping out of the comfort zone is actually where the success lies and the biggest example of it is our 2021 cover man- Chef Vikas Khanna, who has been touching a million lives during the lockdown. I recently had a Zoom call interview with him and his vision speaks a lot about his actions. While the pandemic had shaken us in every way possible, the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput raised many eyebrows on the functioning of the entertainment industry. I have been working with close-knit with this industry and I feel talent is supreme, period! While this case has taken many shapes and forms in the last 60 days, all we can pray is, justice prevails. Sushant’s journey as a television artist and then as a young face of Hindi cinema was surely an inspiration to many and I guess that is the first thing he will be remembered for, in the coming time. The reason I decided to put in these words is that while scrolling on social media, all I can see is hashtags trending for the justice of his demise and I thought to tell you, that it is important for all of us to be united for a change and it’s not far. Any change can happen, only if we are ready for it. Just like Shivin Narang’s willingness to overcome his fear and even Darshan Rawal’s willpower to make it big in the music industry. This issue talks about those who wished to bring in the change at their level and have surely succeeded with sheer hard work. I generally prefer to write Editor’s Note at my desk back in Delhi, but sometimes it is good to break the monotony. This time I broke it after watching a recent video on Facebook, which reminded me that we are two weeks away from the International Women’s Day. At the moment, I am on my way for a brand meeting and the video reminded me of the lines of Melinda Gates that says, “A woman with a voice is by definition a strong woman. But the search to find that voice can be remarkably difficult.” Thank god, we are not in the age, and today our women have not only raised the voice, but have also marked their presence in all walks of life. One such woman is our cover girl for the month of March, who is known for her power-packed performances, dancing skills and now a strategic entrepreneur too. I am sure that time is changing and the future will see many more such women and we as a nation will feel proud of them. The year is about to end and we are all geared up for our anniversary issue that will be celebrated in the month of February. While the teams are preparing for the same, we are here with our December issue that celebrates the best of 2019 along with our cover couple Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain. I personally love people who are multi-tasking and Nusrat being the one; it was an overwhelming moment to have her on our cover. One thing I must say that she is effortlessly beautiful and the bond they both share is completely adorable. During the interview, she said, “I was standing for elections and I found Nikhil standing up for me’. So, this year will be remembered as an epitome of strength for both of us,” and I guess this was one of the best parts of the interview that is still with me. While the day-long cover shoot was tiring but at the same time, it gave my team a sense of achievement too, while will be our guiding force for the upcoming year as well. When they agreed to be the cover of the festive issue, my team got over-whelmed and we all flew to Mumbai for this special one and interview which left us with endless memories to cherish forever. The candid and free-wheeling interview with a pinch of personal touch is what makes it a special one. I guess I have nothing else in my mind, while I am writing this note right after the cover shoot got over and we are on the way back to the hotel. With festivities all around us, all I want to convey is to sparkle like the colours of Diwali and never let your shine turn dull because life is full of dreams that we all are striving to achieve, just like our cover personalities who believe that in the next 33 years they will keep reinventing themselves, keep creating new things, and get better and better with time.
