We bring you the excerpts from the warming conversation with Dr. Dipankar Roy, Global President and CEO of International Art Acts and The Authors Club Worldwide, who pours his heart out in a face to face conversation with GLITZ. A playful residential dwelling located at Padra, Vadodara, has been designed by Manoj Patel Design Studio based on factors like, climate and social surrounding context, that breaks down the scale while offering a variation of massing cubes as a new neighbourhood. Ar. Stephen Coates redesigned his Edwardian Villa and annexe in a conservation area in the centre of Kingston upon Thames, London, both has been rebuilt to be highly flexible and low-energy in order to respond to changing needs for a work-from-home professional couple, their grown up children and extended family and their respective future needs. Creative Head Monica Chawla at Essentia Environments designed this bungalow in Gurgaon around open-to-sky gardens, landscaped courtyards and engrossed green bodies that provide not just a good view out of each window, but also offer complete privacy from an otherwise busy neighbourhood. Interior designer Chirag Mehta at 9 Degree Design Studio designed a modern classical themed spell-binding humble abode in Ahmedabad inspired by European and Roman look. Ar Anil Anant Mundle, well regarded for elevating spaces he designs, has created a magical space at Paliwal House in Bilaspur in his signature style, combining classic and modern influences with practical edge. The house is a mix of contemporary and Indian fusion décor style. A 200 years old Hanuman Temple also known as 'Gol Mandir' situated in the heart of Kolkata has been brilliantly redesigned by Ar. Sunil Maniramka of Maniramka & Associates and reconstructed without disturbing the existing functioning of the temple with the ground-breaking design approach.
