Today, glass buildings are considered as modern and iconic structures. We need to change this mind-set and break this popular myth. This design of Collector office, Pune by Ar. Sunil B. Patil is an attempt to break this myth and reinstate the climate responsive architecture which is apt for tropical climate of India. Free from the conventional top-down design approach, Ar. Debmalya Guha of Pace Consultants evolved an organic architecture rooted to the region and created a more ecologically sensitive sustainable architecture with Sana Beach Resort in Mandarmoni, West Bengal, using local materials by traditional artisans and vernacular art. Ar. Rajesh Shivaram designed a contemporary house for a family of four located in South Bangalore considering the client’s penchant towards a slick modernist vocabulary that amalgamated the habitable spaces with the landscape. Ar. Anjan Gupta designed this office space for JSW group in Kolkata, addressing all the spatial and functional requirements through a rational and minimalistic approach, where the workspaces are defined by clean lines and planes. The splash of colors on the workstations breaks the monotony of the work areas creating a livelier ambience. Inspired from the changing movements of creation and destruction of oceanic waves Architect Manoj Patel designed this restaurant MM COOK’S in Vadodara which revolves around a unified theme that evolves from natural forms creating a unique identity. This two storey residence in Gandhidham, Gujarat has been designed by Khushal and Tejas Pokar where the ambiance is not fancied by any particular style of designing. An exquisite amalgamation of modern and traditional themes is at work in this abode. Creative Group Architects Charanjit Singh Shah and Gurpreet S Shah designed this exquisite traditional cum contemporary farmhouse in Ghittorni, New Delhi. Designer Yagnesh Shah designed this multistory residence in Raipur with intent to connect interior & exterior spaces.
