When a person loves his work, he creates wonder. His creation makes him legendary. For this issue's cover story we are excited to present the wonderful creation ‘Da Milano’ of Raipur, designed by a legendary interior designer Rupal Bagerecha, who has always been an acknowledged innovative designer, authored new trends & style. Dedicated to innovation and creativity architect duo of a+t associates, Archis Patel and Tanvi Rajpurohit designed the Simple, clean and sophisticated interiors for this residence in Vadodara. They continuously look at the ways of experimenting with materials in the designs. The ‘Split House’ in Kolhapur has been designed by Ar. Umaesh Raje in vernacular character with automated modern amenities in such a manner that spaces are split at different levels maintaining a cozy look of the bungalow. Architect Hiten Kothari has designed this unique villa in Raipur, which is a perfect amalgamation of luxury and warmth of opulence and simplicity. His designs emphasize balance to create clean and beautiful environments that lean toward the modern yet remain elegant, livable and refined. The double heights and courtyards continue to be relevant socially and climatically in our context and taking into account Ar. Rajesh Shivaram from Technoarchitecture, Bangalore, created an inwards looking design with ‘S-Villa’ where all the spaces overlook in to the courtyard with a double height. The young & talented designers’ duo Ar. Mayank Wadhwa and Twinkle Nathani designed this restaurant in Raipur with the ambiance of fine dining considering the context of the site with the unique treasure of terracotta art. The approach and peaceful setting inspired them to do a subtle design that blends with the surroundings and yet has strong impact on the passerby.
