Pictures tell a story of their own in a voice louder than words. Our first photo essay brings the awe-inspiring and virgin world of eastern Ladakh – in its many hues changing over seasons and landscapes. Interiors brings to you the domain of dedicated homemakers who have put in efforts to carve out unique spaces inside their abodes of living. We are hoping that January’s cover story will have you the most riveted. It’s got to do with urban Indian women and it’s got, more importantly, to do with the new-age battles they fight everyday of their lives. Through our story, we have strived to find a way through the jungle of societal pressures, constant judgements and persistent criticism. In this, Tahira Kashyap helps us gain a new perspective through her column, Open.
Other pieces that are absolutely not to be missed include a tête-à-tête with spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, an interview with veteran artist Shiv Singh and a talk with seasoned actor Pavan Malhotra, who would be seen on the big screens this month, playing celebrated philanthropist Bhagat Puran Singh ji.
