लखीमपुर जिले के पहली बार सफलता हासिल करने वाले आठ गन्ना किसान सम्मानित किए गए। जिन्होंने 18 से 20 फीट का गना उपजाकर सफलता की नई इबारत लिखी है। इसके साथ ही सह फसली खेती से अतिरिक्त आय हासिल की है।

वैश्विक बाजार में घटेंगी चीनी की कीमतें

दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे बड़े चीनी निर्यातक राष्ट्र थाईलैंड में चीनी का उत्पादन लगभग 80-90 लाख टन कम हुआ है। इसलिए, भारत के पास मध्य पूर्व, श्रीलंका, बांग्लादेश, पूर्वी अफ्रीका आदि में अपने स्वयं के पारंपरिक बाजारों के अलावा इंडोनेशिया और मलेशिया को चीनी निर्यात करने का अवसर है। भारत के पास मार्च-अप्रैल 2021 तक चीनी, जब तक कि ब्राजील की चीनी बाजार में नहीं आ जाती, तब तक अनुबंध और निर्यात करने का एक अच्छा अवसर है।

किसानों की समृद्धि का साथी बनेगा एथेनॉल

भारत चीनी का एक बड़ा उत्पादक देश है। साथ ही हम बड़ी मात्रा में चीनी का निर्यात भी करते हैं। इसी को ध्यान में रखते हुए केंद्र सरकार ने कुछ दिनों पहले ही इस पर 3,500 करोड़ रुपये के अनुदान की घोषणा की है, जिससे इस वर्ष भी हम करीब 60 लाख टन चीनी का निर्यात कर पाएंगे। इस अनुदान से देश के लाखों गन्ना किसानों को फायदा होगा। सरकार गन्ना किसानों के लाभ के लिए कई कदम उठा रही है।
