यूएई ने शराब की खपत पर इस्लामी कानूनों में दी छूट

संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (यूएई) ने 21 वर्ष और उससे अधिक उम्र के लोगों के लिए शराब की खपत, बिक्री और शराब रखने के लिए निर्धारित दंड को इस 7 नवंबर, 2020 को देश के इस्लामी व्यक्तिगत कानूनों (इस्लामिक पर्सनल लॉज़) में एक बड़ी छूट देने की घोषणा की है। ऐसी विभिन्न गतिविधियों को अनुमति दी गई है जिन्हें पहले प्रतिबंधित किया गया था जैसेकि, शराब प्रतिबंधों को ढीला करना और अविवाहित जोड़ों को अनुमति देने के साथ ही और सम्मान रक्षा हेतु हत्या (ऑनर किल्लिंग्स) को अपराध मानने की अनुमति दी गई है।
