The pandemic days have created discomfort and threat to us but differently resulted in writers finding new forms in literature. A good number of writers in Tamil experiment with the short fiction. A handsome number of collections consisting of short short stories, Kurunkathai in Tamil , have been brought out these days. The current issue ventured into a collectors item by publishing 21 short fictions by 7 different writers. They are Sureshkumara Indrajith, Yuvan Chandrasekar, S Ramakrishnan, Paa Raghavan, Perundevi, K N Senthil and Bogan sankar. The editorial is on the death of Fr. Stan Swamy which caused by the state.
