Highlights of Auto Today dated December 2018 issue: It’s the last month of 2018 and some manufacturers have saved their best for the end. The Maruti-Suzuki Ertiga goes under the scalpel and comes back refreshed with a new engine and an automatic gearbox. The Ed drives the new S60 sedan that’s one of the last cars in Volvo’s line-up to receive the new family face and tech upgrades. Mahindra comes out with a worthy rival for the Toyota Fortuner in the form of the Alturas G4 SUV. Tata spruces up the Tigor and Tiago cars with JTP editions, the manufacturers new performance division. The Ford Aspire and Volkswagen Ameo have received new engines and we pit them against established players in the segment to see if they have it in them to win out Road Test for the month. Royal Enfield brings out its first modern 650cc parallel-twins as we ride them around Goa while TVS’ new Radeon promises to up the ante in the executive commuter segment. While some manufacturers have already come out with new products, we’ve got information on the next-gen Mercedes C and E-Class in our Top Story of the month.
