An assistant police sub-inspector chased and caught a mobile phone thief in Mangaluru on Wednesday, a video of which has surfaced. The video shows the officer pinning the accused down. Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said the accused and the victim were found running. The victim is a migrant worker and twothree people stole his mobile phone, he added.

A 10-member CBI team, which is in Odisha to probe the triple train accident, inspected the tracks, signal room and talked to railway officials at Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore district on Tuesday.
