Bimonthly Hindi magazine DEFENCE MONITOR is published from Delhi (India) since 2012 and this is the only RNI registered Hindi magazine on subjects like defence, aerospace, homeland security, strategic affairs and civil aviation. 
Hindi is the official language of India. Majority of the people in India are Hindi speaking. Similarly most of the policy makers are Hindi speaking in the Parliament, State Assemblies and bureaucracy.
At the UN meetings, Prime Minister of India and the Foreign Affairs Minister deliver their speeches in Hindi only. 
Eminent authors, experts and journalists contribute their articles in the magazine. The magazine gives deep insight into the Indian defence industry, R&D and defence preparedness. Strategic issues are also dealt at length. The magazine provides comprehensive understanding of the progress of India in various sectors including space. 
The magazine is subscribed by students studying Defence Studies in Hindi in various institutes as it provides reference material in Hindi and helps them pass competitive examinations. Apart from this, the magazine is widely circulated in the Indian defence establishments, industry and other stake holders.
