This issue of DESH is based on the demerits of Social Media. It is actually turning people into ‘anti-socials’. There are 3 short essays based on this topic, written by Shamim Ahmed, Sayantani Putatunda and Dhritiman Gangopadhyay.

There is a long essay named ‘Bastaber Cheyeo Satti’ on the line of Cinema created by Asgar Farhadi. The essay is written by Ayan Bandyopadhyay.

Both the stories of Mantabya section is based on the duties of the Governor in a state. The debate between Chief Minister of West Bengal and the Governor of West Bengal again gave rise to the age old question regarding the duty of the Governor. This is the main standpoint of the stories.

Column of Sumit Mitra & Novel ‘Final Gazi’ by Humayun Kabir is continuing as well.

Other regular sections like Nammatro, Grantholok, Shilpo Sanskriti, Chithipatro, Seshkatha are there as usual.
