This issue of DESH is based on a collection of 52 poems named ‘Knacha Kabitar Guchha’ by the eminent poet Joy Goswami. Though the poet has grown old with time but the passion and romanticism in the deepest core of his heart is evergreen. The poems depict that romantic aspect of the poet.

There is one long essay on Gabriel Garcia Marquez named ‘Sanga, Nishanga O Marquez’ written by Sayam Bandyopadhyay.

The lead story of Mantabya section is based on the feature named ‘Jihader Antarale’ written by Sumit Mitra. This feature is about the happenings, incidents and the political turnabout behind the backdrop of the word ‘Jihad’.

There is a travelogue on a visit to Corsica Island, located in the southeastern region of France named ‘Corsica Dwip-e Bonaparte-er Paray’ written by Sutapa Mukhopadhyay.
