20th June issue of Anandamela is a wonderful delight to all of its reader. It is a much awaited short story issue. There are six stories by eminent contemporary writers Sukanta Gangopadhyay, Pracheta Gupta, Ullas Mallik, Smaranjit Chakrabarty, Rajesh Basu and Debojyoto Bhattacharya. The each story has a unique flavour and they are all from different genre as well.Alongwith an interesting writeup on travel, namely 'Penguiner Deshe' have been included.

A new adventure novel 'Chandratal er porira' mainly based on Himachal Pradesh has been started from this issue.

In sports sections we paid homage to Muhammad Ali and Monohar Aich. There is also an article on Novak Djokovich.
