Irish Champions Weekend kicked off in style last weekend as Leopardstown and the Curragh Racecourses joined forces to stage the richest concentration of flat racing ever hosted in Ireland, with a total of €3.7m in prize-money. Over 24,000 race-goers attended over the two days with Sunday’s family entertainment at The Curragh proving very popular with Kildare families.
