Whether this is your first time visiting our shores or you are returning once again to trace the steps of your distant ancestors, here at Travel Ireland we hope in some small way to be able to gently guide you as you plan your stay here. This month we take a look at all of the upcoming shows at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre, including The Rat Pack with Ella Fitzgerald and the return of Ross O’Carroll-Kelly in Postcards from the Ledge. At Glasnevin Cemetery the iconic O’Connell Tower, Ireland’s tallest round tower, has re-opened for visitors to ascend. It’s a great month to visit the sunny south east with West Waterford Festival of Food and Waterford’s Viking Festival and Roadshow happening this month. We are also celebrating all things literary with Dublin’s One City One Book which this year features The Long Gaze Back, An Anthology of Irish Women Writers, edited by Sinead Gleeson. Whatever you end up doing, we at Travel Ireland wish you a hefty and heartfelt Céad míle fáilte and hope you enjoy your stay.
