Being Billie Joe Armstrong sure looks fun right now. Having successfully unleashed his new band The Longshot’s ace debut album, Love Is For Losers, he’s now taking the group around his native California for some super-intimate shows. And with a larger – but no less sweatbox-y – tour to follow through until June, punk rock’s finest has certainly got a busy two months ahead. The rest of The Longshot’s year looks relatively free so far, though, so we’ll keep hoping that the band spontaneously hop on a plane to the UK at some point. In fact, Billie, we’ve got a bit of spare room in our office kitchen, if you’re interested in a gig right here? We’ll put the kettle on now.
