MoT exemption The FBHVC has recently issued a press release regarding the new self-declaration process to be carried out as part of annual licensing by the DVLA. The crux of it is that, should the keeper of a qualifying vehicle not wish to submit the vehicle for an MoT test, by making the declaration you are confirming that the vehicle is at least 40 years old and has not been substantially changed in the previous 30 years.

Right route The Route 62 Kustom Show takes place at Pontefract Racecourse on Sunday 16 September. Along with the showvehicles, the day promises trade stands, tattoo artists, kids’ entertainment, refreshments and livemusic.

The National Street Van Association’s 45th Truck In will take place over the weekend of 29 June - 1 July at Westcott Social Club, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (HP18 0NZ). All custom and classic vans and pick-ups are welcome, along with rods and customs.
