I don’t have a favourite event. Well, I do, but I am neither tactless or indiscreet enough to actually tell anyone lest heads would either swell or feelings be unnecessarily hurt. But if I was asked what was among my favourites (note the use of the plural and also the fact that I have cunningly not said how long that list is … could be five, could be five hundred…), then Stormin’ The Castle would definitely be up there.

One of the most frustrating comments that regularly get spouted in the direction of just about any custom bike is the “It’s a show bike, and it never gets used” statement. And it’s the sort of comment that seems to be uttered by the most uneducated types in the direction of anything that has a reasonable level of customising.
