Hello and welcome to the Christmas issue of your Everton magazine…

The idea of getting the players in Christmas jumpers for the front and back cover was a simple one…it was persuading them to wear the jumpers that was the hard part! Actually, they seemed to enjoy it, and anyone who has seen the Half Season Ticket video featuring Samuel and Steven will agree. The skipper carried it off well too! November was a good month for Jags, and he tells us all about it in his exclusive interview.

It wasn’t a bad few weeks for Tony Bellew either. The lifelong Evertonian finally put Nathan Cleverly in his place and he brings us up to date on his next venture…a Hollywood movie!

The Bellew-Cleverly dislike for each other has been festering for a few years but Evertonians' outrage at a certain former referee called Clive Thomas has been burning strongly since 1977! The Welshman inexplicably (to this day) disallowed what would have been an Everton FA Cup semi-final winner against Liverpool and the man who ‘scored’ it, Bryan Hamilton, tells us about it.

Christmas hand-written messages in their own language from the players, super photographs from the Everton Former Players’ Foundation festive lunch and a chat with Steven Naismith are also among the many features that make the December Everton magazine. Enjoy!
