Magazine Description

In this issue

Welcome to the June edition of your Everton magazine. You may have seen on social media that some of the Everton players are already away on their holidays after a challenging season. But worry not – before the players went away we filled our boots with a plethora of Everton-related content to ensure this issue was one that will keep you thoroughly entertained, even without the Toffees to look forward to on a Saturday afternoon. One player who deserves a rest is Muhamed Besic, who has had a very busy 24 months. From a title-race in Hungary, to driving on Bosnia at the Brazil World Cup then playing 31 games in his debut season at Everton, the popular midfielder has earned a breather this summer. But just before he did, we spoke to him on how he has acclimatised to his new surroundings on Merseyside. Elsewhere, James McCarthy is the other featured first-teamer as he charts his rise from 15-year-old debutant at Hamilton to midfield marauder at Everton. Just as we were going to print, the news broke that the Blues had signed Tom Cleverley – so we grabbed Club Ambassador Graham Stuart for his thoughts on the new signing. And if that wasn’t enough there is a whole host of absorbing content involving Toffees both young and old, our assistant manager and an England legend. Bob Latchford, Graeme Jones, David Unsworth, Jonjoe Kenny, Matteo Ferrari AND Chris Waddle all feature within these pages! Of course, there's also regular features including Moment In Time, where we go back to 1982/83, EFC Scrapbook and A-Z! Enjoy reading this month’s issue…
