Read how interior designer and blogger Laura Butler-Madden used marble and dramatic dark accents to bring her country cottage to life in Carriage House Kitchen on page 24. There’s also a hugely sophisticated edge to Bianca Hall’s newly revamped kitchen in East London. She took part of the first ‘Revamp, Restyle, Reveal’ instagram challenge which saw 10 talented interiors bloggers do a room each in the space of four weeks– see Chic in the City on page 38. Meanwhile, when the Thompson family found they were priced out of their desired location in Surrey they embarked on a project which saw them build their own house – and design their own kitchen themselves – see page 50 and Fresh Pastures. And in Grand Plan (page 60), interior designer and homeowner Jayne Webster has planned a stunning kitchen conversion in her period home with plenty of space for entertaining and socialising.
