Welcome to issue 142 of The GameOn Magazine! As you read this the Olympic Games will have begun in Tokyo, but as I write it the UEFA Euro 2020 final hasn’t yet taken place! Ah, deadlines. I hope the country you support does well! Our articles this month are mainly coverage of E3 2021, so they’re perfect to help you catch up if you missed any of the announcements. We have an overview from all of the main shows, as well as some of the smaller ones like the Intellivision Amico, and the Playdate update. So even if you’re looking for something that’s literally small, we’ve got something for you. In the previews we cover a bunch of games that had demos put out during the recent Steam Next Fest. UnMetal, Cats in Time, Len's Island, and No Longer Home, a real mixture of genres, and all being released later this year. Finishing things up are our reviews, as usual. Much like our previews, there’s a big mixture of genres, with space simulators, retro platformers, JRPGs and even Pokémon! There’s even an elusive 10/10 hidden somewhere within these pages - take a guess at which game grabbed it, then find out if you’re right!
