Welcome to issue 136 of The GameOn Magazine!
I hope you’ve stopped writing 2020 on things by
now, because it’s well and truly 2021. But due to
publishing dates, there’s still some 2020 content
that we’re putting on your screens, so let’s get to it!
Our articles include a few bits on hardware that we
checked out for Christmas, as well as the usual So
I Trieds. Alana tells us which Japan-only games on
the SNES are worth a look for non-kanji readers.
Dane lets us know some movies perfect for samurai
fans. Richard takes a stab at ranking the Assassin’s
Creed games. Danielle feels pity for some less-loved
Nintendo titles. Jamie explains the origins of some
indie darlings - or games that began as such. And a
bunch more!
On the preview front, Jamie gets Realpolitiks II for a
second, while Nick acts all Hell Let Loose. Then Jamie
proves that he is a bit of a Cartel Tycoon, while Luke
comes Back 4 Blood, and Simon shows that Prodeus
doesn’t fit seamlessly into an editorial sentence.
Then our reviews, where no game received lower
than an average 5/10. Alana pet the PHOGS! while
Luke got a touch of Amnesia: Rebirth, and Simon
shouted Space Invaders Forever. Adam proved that
he was Partisans 1941, Gary felt Immortals Fenyx
Rising and Blake got augmented in Cyberpunk 2077!
