Welcome to issue 131 of The GameOn Magazine!
At the time of writing we’re experiencing a bit of a
heatwave in GameOn Towers, so if any of the pages
look melted just blame the lack of a powerful aircon
unit. That one got moved into the server room to
help cope with our game servers.
Our articles feature the usual So I Trieds and my
Metro diary for this month, and a look at some new
articles. We have Piotr telling us which Metal Gear
Solid games he prefers, Neil talking about saving
a Nintendo game and Adam fanboying over some
Xbox Showcase titles. Also, Josh looks back at a
couple of “army” games, Alana talked to their kids
about a game and James finished a game!
We’ve got a handful of previews this month,
with Richard punching it to Hyper Scape, Steven
constructing the Main Assembly and Jamie getting
both Grounded and finding Ary and the Secret of
Seasons!
Finally, our reviews which I’m pleased to say
number the highest this year! Steven raced over
F1 2020, Gary saw things in black and white with
Monochrome World and Adam tried to Destroy
All Humans! Meanwhile Alana ate some Carrion,
Richard told us a Creepy Tale and Erin joined The
Council. Finally, Anna folded Paper Mario: The
Origami King, Isaac started a Wildfire and Nikki
logged into Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris.

Hyper Scape Preview
I know what you’re thinking: yet another battle royale game, and you may be right for feeling that way because the market for these games is getting quite saturated. For me, I enjoy seeing all the different takes on the genre, even if it can start to feel familiar, but Hyper Scape feels rather unique despite taking some similarities from those that came before (whether they were successful or not).

F1 2020 Review
This year has been a difficult one for motorsport fans. With most events thus far being cancelled due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation, organizers have been having to find new ways to engage fans.
