Welcome to issue 129 of The GameOn Magazine!
With everything going on in the world right now, I
didn’t want to remind people of current events and
introduce stress into your “relax and read” time.
However, it would be remiss of me to not mention
them, if briefly, because to ignore the Black Lives
Matter movement would be to pretend that it
doesn’t exist. We support the movement, and have
donated to multiple related charities. Try to stay
safe, and take care of yourselves.
Our articles this month include Jamie looking back
at CD Projekt RED’s popularity boost, and Adam
tackles his backlog. Richard puts on his cartography
hat, Emsey looks at fantasy couples and James tried
a game. I have a rule where I don’t use people’s
names more than once per paragraph, so this is a
short list as a couple of these people worked their
rears off this month.
We have two interviews this month. Isaac had a
word with Ryan Brown about Super Rare Games,
and Adam spoke to indie developer Alain Lagacé
about his various titles.
Previews this month have Blake shooting Total Tank
Simulator, and Joshua being a Landlord’s Super.
Also, Steven raced over Trackmania, Gary became
a Builders of Egypt: Prologue and I set fire to Embr.
Then we have our reviews, which saw Nikki being
a bit of a diva about Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA
Mega Mix and Adam fighting the Streets of Rage 4.
While that went on, Harry saw his Fury Unleashed,
Simon started the Sakura Wars and Jamie became
a Cloudpunk.
