Welcome to issue 119 of The GameOn Magazine!
gamescom is underway as you read these words, so
forgive us for not having anything about it - it’s still weeks
away as I write these words! So, imagine that I wrote
something about the great job your favourite publisher
has done at this year’s show.
Our articles this month have several longer pieces, and
quite a bit about consoles in varying shapes. But first off
Francis ranks Link’s 3D adventures through Hyrule, and
Sam pits the recent big “Team” racing games against
one another. Then we have Shayne telling us what to
buy on Switch and a bunch from Neil - he’s been busy!
Leading the previews section is Ethan feeling the Lust
from Beyond. Meanwhile I do that Metro Sim Hustle,
while Calum tries to Get to the Orange Door. There’s
also a visit to a certain spaceship you may have seen on
the cover of this very magazine.
Finally, our reviews are light on the ground, but you can
see Richard doing Kill la Kill: IF, and a mechanised Joshua
in SteamWorld Quest Hand of Gilgamesh. Gary became
Pathologic 2, Matthew looked for It Lurks Below and
Steven enrolled in Space Ops VR.
