One hundred - ready or not, here it is! Yes, the February
issue of The GameOn Magazine is our one hundredth.
That shouldn’t come as a surprise, as you’ve been with
us from the start, right? Heck, even if you haven’t, we’re
very happy to have you aboard for our entry to triple
digits!
Whereas most people have been listing their favourite
games from 2017, we took this big opportunity to
present you with our favourite games of all time! What’s
more, we listed our Top 10 franchises of all time.
We also have Simon writing about Final Fantasy, Owen
with something about Monster Hunter and Ethan writing
about Darkwatch of all things. As usual, I’m not telling
you about everything, because this is videogames, not a
tarot reading!
In previews, Nikholai experienced some Dead Cells,
Nathan rode the Crest and Christian took Coffence at
what he wrote. There’s five in total, so you can tell I’m
not making jokes about two of them - you’ll have to read
on to find out more.
As for the reviews this issue, Tyler felt the Hand of Fate
2, Olly got Darkwood, and Andrew took The Low Road.
Matt was a real People Eater, Adam tried to ReThink and
Dylan “something funny about Gorogoa”.
Once again, we are stoked that you’re here for our 100th
issue, and we’re honestly hoping you join us for the next
100. But in the meantime, there’s plenty to read so I’ll let
you get to reading,
So I Tried...Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round
Andrew fought with physics, girls and ninja to tell us about it

Realistically, a religion may be misinterpreted or purposefully ignored by at least some fraction of society.

Coffence Preview
Sweet Bandits Studios are mental. Absolutely Hannibal Lecter “liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti” bonkers. They must be to come up with the pure silly genius that is Coffence.
2 mins
People Eater Review
I have to say that most of the time I find it hard to say 2D games with low budget graphics get my attention.
2 mins
ReThink Review
Sometimes I wonder why so many first person puzzle games share such a similar aesthetic with Portal.
3 mins
WWE 2K18 Review
Ah, the wonderful world of wrestling. Where larger than life characters go head to head in epic matches that will stand the test of time.
4 mins
Star Ocean: The Last Hope Remastered Review
While en route to the planet Aeos, your ship encounters a strange object which throws the vessel off course and forces you to land on an unknown planet.
