Welcome to the December issue of The GameOn Magazine! Of course, we’re writing this at the start of November, so it won’t be until next issue that we’re thinking about Christmas, so don’t worry, our sleigh bells aren’t jingling just yet! We’re still catching up with October’s big launches. Another slim month for articles, but two of them are lengthy enough to make you forget it. Calum wrote about the role of war in the Call of Duty series, Owen played the next Digimon game, and Tyler has a problem with Raiders of the Broken Planet. Marcello and Calum are still putting out their gamescom previews, with delights such as Police Simulator 18 and Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth: Book Two. Also, Nikholai ran for the Gold Rush, Kayla got out of the way of the Dodgeball, and Christian rented a JCB Pioneer: Mars. Finally, our reviews are an absolute engorgement of gaming goodness (and badness). Ethan found time to Bleed, Simon walked the Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, and Kayla tried to Grab The Bottle. Nathan opened up Beans: The Coffee Shop Simulator, Gary wondered whether he had a Knack II, Nikholai checked out his Blue Reflection and Andrew envisioned The Evil Within 2. Oh, and of course with the big games, Anna discovered the Assassin’s Creed Origins and Blake gazed into South Park: The Fractured but Whole.
